[Chilli] Problems with Chilli + Dansguardian

Hello,  we use coova and recently we started integrating Dansguardian on our 
captive-portal solution.
We implemented using HS_POSTAUTH_PROXY/HS_POSTAUTH_PROXYPORT coova-chilli 
directives, dansguardian+polipo (a lightweight proxy) as filter/proxy and 
shorewall as firewall.
We tested such setup with both Linux and Windows clients without issues, but 
we found out that Mac OS (at least Tiger and Leopard, I don't have a Snow 
Leopard to try, both with Safari and Firefox 3.5) systems have a strange 
behavior: after login client cannot reach some (legitimate) websites with 
system waiting forever for the page to appear, while blacklisted websites are 
blocked by dansguardian.
I've tried many alternative setup to pinpoint the exact problem (e.g. removing 
alternatively chillispot or dansguardian) but i couldn't figure out where the 
problem is, except that it appears only when both chillispot and dansguardian 
are up.
I tried with coova 1.0.14 and 1.2.2.
What strike me most is the fact that only Mac OS is affected.
Any suggestion?
