Sorry I am still stuck at this. I checked the source, there is some socket binding code, but I am not sure exactly which segment of the code is relevant. Is it possible that the UDP reply is 'bind' to 'eth0' and so unable to send to 'eth0.2' and so the client is not getting any reply ?
