Hi Guys, its me again. having a configuration on NIC with
ETHTOOL_OPTS='"autoneg off speed 100 duplex full"'
if this is the case then having 4 adsl lines with
100mbps each equal to 400mbps will not utilize bandwidth and will remain
into 100mbps is it?

Regards,
Danny

Hi,

I?m running Coova Chilli v. 1.3.1-svn version.

If I start Chilli with runtime option ?noradallow and then disable my radius
server I get the following in debug mode:

radius.c: 465: 0 (Debug) Rescheduling RADIUS request id=10 idx=0

radius.c: 465: 0 (Debug) Rescheduling RADIUS request id=10 idx=0

radius.c: 465: 0 (Debug) Rescheduling RADIUS request id=10 idx=0

radius.c: 465: 0 (Debug) Rescheduling RADIUS request id=10 idx=0

radius.c: 465: 0 (Debug) Rescheduling RADIUS request id=3 idx=3

radius.c: 427: 0 (Debug) RADIUS queue-out id=10 idx=0

redir.c: 2431: 0 (Debug) Received RADIUS response

redir.c: 2440: 0 (Debug) Radius request timed out

redir.c: 3834: 0 (Debug) redir_main handling Access-Reject

redir.c: 3838: 0 (Debug) ---->>> resetting challenge:
d6e917f8254b4c297f752f2a15dc94ed

redir.c: 777: 0 (Debug) redir_wispr1_reply

redir.c: 3854: 0 (Debug) -->> Msg userurl=[]

My user is not allowed internet access as the option ??noradallow? should
give and the redir handling is set to Access-Reject and not the timeout as
expected.

Is anyone using this option successfully??

Best regards

Claus

Hi guys,

I am facing issue on a gigabit network card.

i am having 100mbps adsl line.

setup:

server is having 2 gigabit network card ( eth0 and eth1 ) --- connected to
PC with gigabit port

chilli_query authorize mac $mac ---> to allow with unlimited bandwidth

now during the testing ... DOWNLOAD is reaching NOT less than 100mbps but no
value on UPLOAD.

i did some workaround:

on PC with 10/100/1000 network card i set the Speed Duplex on network
setting into 100Mbps instead of default config which is Auto Negotiation.

With this workaround i am getting a value on upload not more than 20mbps
which is still less.

while on a pc with 10/100 packet from download is more that 80mbps but not
more than 100mbps while on upload it is going up to 70 to 80.

question is why im not able to get an upload on a gigabit card?

is there any config require on chilli ? is this something to do with the
driver on the network card.

Danny

Hello!

I had the same problem. I solved it the same way as you did - set 100mbps
full duplex .

I've also wrote to the forum and nobody responded.

Hi coova users,

In our ALCASAR project, we use coova and we have seen the same problem on
the coova listening card when it's connected on a Gb switch (the flow is
very low and a lot of "interupt" messages are written in journalctl).
The only workaround we have found is to fix the speed and autonegociation of
the NIC. (ETHTOOL_OPTS='"autoneg off speed 100 duplex full"'. The Linux is
Mageia2 (kernel 3.4.52).
