I saw this once when I had edited my config file in programmers notepad
on windows and save it back to the coova box.
I had to copy over the defaults file and start from scratch

Subject: Weird: unrecognized option --dhcpif=ath2 ?
Hi all,
I'm using coova chilli a a number of boxes (10 I think) and it's
working,
on the whole, really well.
I'm using openwrt kamikaze 8.09_rc1 x86 with PC engines WRAP boards.
But one box has gone weird (it was working fine). Also the box is 40
feet
off the ground so I don't want to replace the compact flash if I can
help
it :)
I have the chilli configuration items in a config file. I use the same
file for every box too.
When I try to start coova chilli with "chilli -c /etc/MYCONFIGFILE" I'm
getting the following error:
coova-chilli: unrecognized option `--dhcpif=ath2'
This is very weird isn't it? If I comment the "dhcpif=ath2" in my
config
it just complains about another config item and so on.
I've checked all the other config files and executable programs against
one of the other [working] boxes and it all looks identical to me?
Does anyone have any ideas on anything I could try?
thanks very much,
Derek
