No. My wording was bad here. In general if I give access to 
"host.example.com" I really only want to give access to a thing called 
"hots.exmaple.com". If I want to give include its children as well the 
usual syntax is to give access to ".host.example.com". That is a pretty 
common syntax, and it would be nice of chilli supported that as well.
