[Chilli] Auth-Type?

Hi.
I'm testing a new FreeRadius2 installation.
In most of the installation howtos I found around, to make the first connection test they just add the user to radcheck with either MD5-Password or Cleartext-Password and the user can authenticate. I got mad at this because wasn't working for me, and found out that I *need* to add Auth-Type := Accept to radcheck, and then it will work.

Why this?
