Yes, macauth is indeed just authentication based on the mac address,
during DHCP (so, immediately after the subscriber associates). If
Access-Accept is returned, then no captive portal. If Reject is
returned, then they do get the portal. If your RADIUS server considers
the fact that this mac is already authenticated (i.e. has an active
session on some other chilli), then you can return the Access-Accept.
