[Chilli] Switching logging mechanism in coova - need testers/feedback

Hi guys,
I've started working on Coova again after a long break from last year,
picking up from roughly where I was last, switching coova-chilli to
use the stock syslog(3) API available to everyone.
I'd really appreciate some feedback / testing of my changes, there's
lots to do yet but the wheels are slowly in motion.

I've confirmed it builds on Mavericks, FreeBSD/AMD64 10.1 & Debian 7.6
AMD64 but don't have a test setup yet to run it one.
